CUSTOM PROBIOTICS was established in April 1999 as a division of HB Environmental Engineers, Inc. The probiotic dietary supplement CP-1 was formulated by its president, Harry Bronozian, a chemist and a chemical engineer, who suffered from Candida for ten years, and Helicobacter Pylori (the bacteria that causes ulcers) for 8 months. His Candida was eliminated within 5 months while the H. Pylori became under control using  high doses (about 500 billion per day) of Acidophilus/Bifidus Adult Formula CP-1 and straight probiotic cultures. In fact a December 22, 1999 endoscopy with biopsy indicated that H. Pylori was no longer present.
